Truth HW Replacement Part

Question

I am looking for a replacement part as I am able to open but not close my crank-operated window.

Think I've identified the right part (product code 39-172) but wanted to check if this could be confirmed before ordering based on the attached picture.

Is there a part where the top arm measures 4.5" instead of 5"? Mine is 4.5". Worst case maybe that is a part I can reuse.

I agree that the 39-172 is the best match we carry for your original as long as the rest of the dimensions match up. Since yours has a 4-1/2" arm, you have two options to consider. You could try to move your sash bracket to compensate for the arm difference, or swap the arms altogether. This can be done by drilling out the new and old arms, then installing the old arm on the new operator using our 62-014 rivet. To install this rivet, you'll have to hammer it in; I recommend doing it over a metal plate, if you have one.
