Truth Hardware replacememt lock

A quick learner from Englewood CO says:
I lost the key for my sliding door. The brand is Truth Hardware. I d like to replace the cylinder key - if possible - or the entire lock mechanism. I cant figure out what part(s) I need. Can you help out? Thanks, Jim Kelly

This looks like our 82-402 Tulsa Handle & Mortise Lock. Start by looking at our 82-310. Carefully compare the dimensions of this old Key Lock Cylinder to see if this matches up with your old one. If so, this may work for you based on past cases; but you'll want to confirm those dimensions to be certain.

That looks correct. The 2 1/4" part that sticks out is much bigger than what is in mine, but it looks like it was cut off. Will give it a try - thanks for your help.

The tailpiece is meant to be cut down to the appropriate size needed, so that works. Let me know how you make out.
