Truth casement window crank

I can open the window but it won't close. The crank handle turns but the window doesn't close. The handle appears to unscrew from the unit as opposed to turning the gears to close the window. Can you identify the problem and what parts I might need?

It sounds like you need a new operator. We'll need you to open your window and show us the arms that move the window sash to proceed further. Thank you!

Thanks for the response. I have attached a photo of the arm that moves the window sash.

Take a look at the 39-032 and 39-156. Compare the dimensions to your current operator to confirm the correct replacement. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
