Truth casement window gasket

Home Owner from Ohio
Gasket material has degraded to the point that it is crumbling. The window is around 40 years old. Can the gasket be replaced?

Hello,

Thanks for writing in! It is very likely that your window seal can be replaced but to confirm if there is a replacement we can supply, I'll need to see a photo of the end profile. It is important to see the shape of the seal and how it installs in the window to determine the most accurate replacement.

Take a look at our video tutorial for reference.

It appears that that i have bubble seal weather stripping. The base extension is about 5mm in height. The bubble seal is roughly 8mm to 10mm.

Thanks for the additional photos. It is a bit hard to make out the exact shape of the seal based on the photos but I believe our 58-053 Kerf mount Bubble Seal could work for your repairs.

Since the shape of the bulb is warped, be sure to double check the dimensions to confirm that it will be a fit.
