Truth guide/slide parts

Question

Hi, I have older crank-out windows in NY. I have one broken and looking to replace it and 3 more. It's a 5 digit part number that starts with 4. I took it to a local independent hardware store, but they threw it away. This part appears to belong to the Truth brand because it's on the metal portion. The hardware store didn't have a compatible part and offered to special order, but then suggested that 39-448 might be compatible. 1 3/8" x 1 7/8" fitting 1/8" metal rod. Thanks for help!

I agree that the 39-448 tie bar guide would be our recommendation to replace your part. These guides do not need to be identical to work with your tie bar. See the video below for more information. Thank you!
