Truth lock and handle replacement

Home Owner from NJ
Sirs: 2 questions:

My broken lock measures 2.5 in. between screw holes. Will 38-036 serve as a replacement?

I need a handle that will fold out of the way of my shade. Will the 39-205 fit on the operator in the picture? Would the 39-107FK be a better choice? Thank you.

Thanks for posting. I agree, the 38-036 may be the best match we have for your Truth casement lock. The screw holes are 2.5" apart, as well. Your operator won't accept 39-107FK, but you can use our 39-205 folding handle.

I just received from you part 38-036, rear mount casement lock, pictured on the right, to replace my broken lock on the left. I tried to mount the new lock with the screws from the old lock but the new locks screw holes are wider in diameter than the old screws. The old lock is plastic and had threaded screw holes while the new lock is metal and doesn't appear to have threaded screw holes. How am I supposed to secure my new lock into place? Thank you.

Sorry to hear about the trouble! I would suggest using our 33-072 screw, or anything the same size from a local hardware store or that you happen to have lying around. It is a #8 X 3/8" long pan head Phillips screw. I think this will fix your problem.
