Truth operator

Home Owner from Newfane VT
Hi--I think these windows date to the late 1980s. It's a single arm operator on a casement window. I would like to replace the entire operator, not just the handle. I think this is a right hand operator?  But hopefully you can confirm what I need from the photos.  Thanks very much.

Hello,

The worm gear has become stripped from the base, so you'll need to replace the entire operator to repair the window. I'll need to see a photo of the arm(s), and how the operator is attached to the bottom of the swinging window sash, to identify the correct replacement.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you. I don't know if this will give you enough; I can also take a photo of the bottom of the sash where the operator is attached if you need it.

Your operator reminds me of the 39-032 EntryGard Dual Arm Operator. To confirm that this is the correct replacement, carefully look over the specifications and compare them.

The compatible hardware and accessories can be found tagged below.

Thank you.  After taking measurements, I think you've identified the correct model, but the opposite side, so I'm going to order 39-031. Maybe it's good practice to also replace the handle -- do you have any opinion if that's necessary, based on these photos?

The piece sticking out of the handle is the gear worm from the operator. If you cannot remove it from the handle, you will need to replace it with one of the handles tagged below this thread.
