Truth operator cover

How can I remove the Truth operator cover from the old Truth Encore Dyad casement window operator? I can't seem to be able to find a distributor that has the 39-452 cover, only the nesting covers.

Incidentally, the cover is metal and appears to be quite bonded to the casement operator.

Is the 39-452 Truth Operator Cover plastic? I have the "Left Hand" Truth Encore Single Arm Dyad casement operator but the cover appears to be metal and is bonded to the operator. Not sure how to remove that cover unless someone has any suggestions.

Hello, thank you for posting,

It appears you have a older style operator where the cover is not removeable. To use a cover and handle like the 39-452, you would need to replace the full operator with the 39-220B depending how the dimensions compare. The cover is plastic and the handle is diecast metal. Please review and let me know if you have any additional questions!
