window will not crank closed. Opens fine. Plastic cover piece is cracked.

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but we'll need to see a photo with the window open so that the arms that move the sash in and out are visible. Once we can see the entire mechanism, we should be able to identify a replacement and the compatible hardware that it works with. Thank you!

My window cranking handle comes completely off the mechanism as show in photo. The crank cover is broken as also shown in the photo. If I order a new crank cover, will this solve my problem or do I have to order the complete mechanism. Could you give me a part number for whatever you recommend. the Window, as shown in the photo, does open to the left.

You would need to replace the entire operator since the worm gear on the end of the handle in your photo is not supposed to be removed from the operator base and can't be repaired. The operator with the gears on the right side is our 39-032, which works with the 39-107 cover and 39-205 folding handle.
