Try to find the right part series number

Question

I have a 28 inches channel balance (2740) needs replace. When I entered 2740 to your website to search, there are few series (350, 351, 380, 385, 390 and 395) shown the same option 2740. I am confused since they all look similar. Please let me know which series is the right one I'll order. Thanks for your help .

Thanks for reaching out! The stamp from the balance is not used to identify the series but it is used to confirm the weight range your balances should be able to carry to support the weight of the sash. This is the reason so many different series of balances populated in your search.

To identify the balances we review the attachments from the top and bottom of the balance channel. Yours looks like it could be the S351-28 with wingless top and bottom attachments. This balance has a 1" shoe depth. Although, you'll want to be sure to double check the measurement to confirm.
