The balance removed from the window has the following etched markings:
UNI below this is a number 13-08- ?? looks like a 5 or 9
next to this is 26 5-D-40
End fittings appear to match the series 390
The window is approx 36 inches wide and I'd guess weighs around 20 lbs
Trying to determine correct parts to order

Thanks for posting! Before I can identify the appropriate balance for you, can you first tell me the total length of the metal channel? Please do not include the nylon attachments in your measurements. Thank you!

Thank you! Now, based on the weight you have guessed, I recommend the 2640 option. This can carry a window sash weight range of 19 through 26 pounds. However, I'd highly suggest that you get the exact weight of your window sash, just in case. If the strength of the balance is too much, you won't be able to open or close your window easily. If it's too little, the balance may even break! Double check your sash weight and see if the 2640 will work for it.
Please keep in mind that the weight range information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
