Have been trying for years to find window cranks. Window companies can not help me. I am hoping that you might be able to help me. There has to be some cranks somewhere. Thank you

Based on the age of the window, there's a pretty good chance we may not be able to supply a working handle for your operator. We can certainly try to find one, though.
Can you tell me the exact diameter of the hole? I'm afraid I can't really tell what it is from just a picture of a ruler. These holes are very, very precise and it's important to be as exact as possible. If you can let me know what that is, we'll do our best to find something.
I'd also like to see a photo of the operator itself. Seeing the whole mechanism would be the biggest help. That means seeing both the base, which you can see from inside the house, and the arms that actually push the window open and pull it close.

I have the same kinds of windows, called E-Z-Vent in our case. Our home is full of them. Eventually, the threads inside the window crank wear out. Luckily, the original owner of our 1954 home left a box of replacement parts. So far, we've been able to manage. But I agree with the comment. We have several types of crank pieces, and each is a little different in size. You really do need the exact size, though it is possible that some other kinds of window cranks will work. Recently had new thermopane glass installed in all windows. Originals lasted nearly 70 years in some cases, and the wood frames are still in pretty good shape. Clearly well made for the time.
