I think our 82-218 is the best match for you. I've heard the same story from a lot of customers who tried this part out, but it always ended up working in the end. I think the manufacturers designed it to be a little tight. I think if you keep at it, it should work. Just be careful during installation not to let the mortise lock fall into the door.
