Attached is a picture of the bottom roller from my screen door. Will your 84-024 work?

Dimensions are 2 1/2" hole, 1/12 height of the metal of the bottom of the screen door, 3/8 interior diameter of the hole. The roller has to be attached by a screw up from the bottom into a hole in a tab, not down from the top. The door was installed in 1970 and I don't know what brand it is.

Thanks for posting, Sonia. Is this piece perhaps broken off of a larger roller housing? I feel like there should be more to it. Please double check in your door and let me know.

No, that is all there is. The tab has a hole through which it is attached by a screw to a tab in the hole within the slot for the spring in the bottom of the door.

Ah, I see. Unfortunately, we weren't able to find anything that matches this roller. You might want to check inside the door rail one last time to make sure there isn't anything still in there that might be an outer housing.
