Trying to find this replacement door handle/mechanism

The locking latch is stuck in the closed position and will not lock anymore, I would like to replace it, but there's so many out there that I don't know what brand it is

Your old mortise lock is a fairly standard design except for the face plate. That is absolutely huge, and not at all common. We won't be able to supply anything with this exact face plate but I do wonder if we can supply something that matches the latch itself. Then you could just reuse the plate.

My first thought is the 82-218. Review the dimensions we show on its store page and see how well they compare to the original. I suggest removing it first so that you can ensure that your measurements are as accurate as possible.
