Trying to identify Rails and plastic Brackets

Home Owner from Michigan

Hello,

My name is Kevin, in Michigan.. I'm trying to identify and replace the plastic brackets that have broken and no longer support the side rails for the drawers in kitchen cabinets.

I don't see a manufacturer name anywhere on the cabinets. The only part numbers I have are on the rails themselves and are depicted in the photos. I have printed the numbers on the rails for clarity.

  • Looks like they were "Made in Canada" and the part numbers are as follows :
  • (in case they aren't legible in photos.
  • Left side : 500/20L and 17002-73
  • Right side: 500/20R and 17002-72

Dimensions of the rail are about 19.5" long and 30/32 wide. Again, I need the plastic brackets, both Right and Left (4 of each).

Hope you can identify these for me...

Thank You

Just adding two more photos of the rails with the part numbers. Hoping you can identify them so I can replace the plastic, "right angle" brackets that the rails fit into, at the back of the cabinet.
Thanks again,
kevin

Thanks for posting! Those brackets are no longer made, but I'm confident that our 32-119 can be used as a replacement. I've heard from many customer's who gave it a try that it works well as a substitute. Look it over and let me know what you think!

I have the same slides and ordered these brackets based on your response but am afraid to use them. Technically the slides fit, but they have to be forced and are so tight that they are threatening to pop out of the groove or stress the brackets to the point of breaking them over time. In the picture you can see a white patch on the right front lip where it has already stressed the plastic.

I'm sorry to hear that the 32-119 did't work. We've had a lot of customers report success with this product, so I'm surprised to hear you're having trouble with it.

Before we recommend anything, can you tell me the exact height and thickness of your track? That will help us determine what size socket you need, exactly.

The guides are exactly 25.4mm tall and 11.6mm wide, measured with a caliper. The channel of the 32-119 also measures 25.4mm x 11.6mm, which is why it's such a squeeze. The bracket needs to be a mm or two larger each dimension.

I'm afraid that we don't have anything that matches those specifications. We have a few sockets with an opening that is a full 1" tall, but the opening width on those is 3/8", which is skinnier than on the 32-119. The closest we have would probably be the 32-012, which is 1" tall and 7/16" wide, but I don't think you'll see much of a difference. The 32-012 and 32-119 are interchangeable in a lot of situations.

Based on everything you described it sounds like the 32-119 is still the socket you want to use. These are made to fit snugly against the track, though obviously not so much that it would break. Either way, we do not have a better match in our inventory. I am very sorry for the inconvenience.
