Twist screw on window casement part is loose

Need some help with replacement parts for older windows with openers. The twist screw that the handle attaches to is loose and does not stay in place...will not engage the wheels to open the window. I have several pictures attached that show the screw on the inside and the arms on the outside. are there replacement parts available that have the double arm or is there an equivalent piece that we can use?

Yep, sounds like the worm gear has stripped out. You'll need an all new operator.

Based on your photos, I would start by looking at our 39-031. It looks like you have a similar dual-arm operator, but I highly recommend reviewing our dimensions to confirm. Otherwise, this should be fully compatible with your old cover and handle. See our 39-032 for the opposite side.
