I need to replace two 25 inch channel balnaces for a old Weather Sheild window .The channel balances have the numbers 2430 BA BST stamped on them.

Take a look at the S350-25 channel balance with the 2430 stamp. This comes attached with the 19-002 top and 15-004 (1-3/32" deep) bottom fittings. Review the specifications to confirm a good fit for your window.

Just wondering. I called your company about that part and the one guy said I should maybe weight my window to get the right part. He said I might need the part for a heavier window. The one for over 19 pounds. Do I I have weight the window? Not sure which part to order the 350 or the heavier one. Jim

Your old 2430 stamp is rated for 15 to 19 pounds. Have you ever had issues with opening or closing the window?

If you're unsure of the exact sash weight, we recommend weighing it on a scale to help confirm the correct stamp for the new balances.
