Two-piece glazing bead for 1980s casement window

Question

Hi I have been trying to identify this vinyl(?) glazing bead on my 1982 house. It is a two-piece external system where one strip fits into a slot in the wood frame with a double-barb and the outer strip that retains the glass snaps into place by interlocking with the inner strip.
I would really appreciate your help identifying and sourcing this system! Thanks!

Hi Rob,

Thanks for reaching out to us! I'm afraid we do not have a glazing bead recommendation that will work to replace the one you have. The barbed part of yours is referred to as a kerf mounting style. While we have one that does have a kerf, it does not have the same shape as yours.

Given the age of the bead, I'm not sure that it is available any longer.
