Unable to remove sash to replace broken coil balances on both sides of window

A home owner from Ohio says:
We are unable to remove the window sash in order to replace the coil balances. See picture. Watched video about removing sash, but that does not work. Do the two screws at the bottom of the window have anything to do with releasing the window sash? Also, one pivot shoe is marked 6L and one is 6R, but R is on the left side when looking from inside the house. Is that a problem/make a difference?

What step specifically are you having trouble removing the sash? See the video below for reference and let me know. As far as any other troubles, those stamps don't necessarily indicate any proper orientation for each coil balance--it depends on the system you have. I believe this might be our 15-087 and 15-086, which uses the Series 180 Coil Balances; but please remove your old balance system and compare to confirm.
