UniFrame double hung tilt

Quick Learner from Romeo, Michigan

My latches have broken. I can't figure out how to take them out. Do you have a video showing that? 5/8" x 1 5/8" are the measurements. I would also need the part numbers so I can order them.

I also need a few of these stops. Part numbers too.

Thanks,

Dave

We don't have a video showing how to remove this kind of internal tilt latch, unfortunately. It should be straight forward, though. You will first need to remove all the locks and tilt latch thumb levers from the sash so that there's nothing on top of it. Then, you should be able to pop the top cover of the sash off. It just snaps on to begin with, it's not held in with screws or anything. You can then access the internal tilt latches.

Once you have those latches out, show me some pictures and I can see if we have anything in our inventory that matches.

As for the vent lock in your last photo, your design is similar to our 26-122, but I'm not certain this is it. Review the photos and dimensions we show for this part and see what you think.

Here are some more photos of the latch out of the window sash. I hope they help.
Thanks,
Dave

PS: I will be sending 2 more photos.

Thank you. Unfortunately, we don't have a tilt latch like this. You may want to consider substituting with a surface mount tilt latch. These are different than your original in that they just screw on. We have a video tutorial that shows how we do this. We find it to be an easier solution for sashes like yours. Let me know what you think!
