I ordered part number 32-119. But this part is broken too. What part do I need to order?
Thank you in advance.

Hey, Kris. The 32-119 is what we've always used to replace this old Merillat drawer socket. You said it's broken, too. Does that mean you received it broken, or it broke at a later time? Can you go into more detail? In our experience, this is the best replacement option around.

Ah, I see the confusion. These "snap-in" cabinet brackets don't exist anymore. They just aren't made. The new brackets are screwed or stapled on. That's why we are suggesting something that looks so different. You'll need to replace the whole bracket component with 32-119 to fix your cabinet.

Hi there
The 32-119 is the part that you just shipped to me and I should get it today. However I discovered that part that it attaches to in the cabinet is broken as well (see photo). What is that part number that I need to order ?

Ahhh. Ok. Thank you for clearing up my confusion.
Is there a magical trick to getting the old snap in brackets out without tearing up my cabinets?

In my experience they should just sorta pop off. If yours seem stuck, it's possible the original makers of the cabinet used glue to keep them in place. If that's the case, your options would be limited. I recommend contacting a hardware store to see what they have in stock that can be used to remove adhesive in this kind of situation. You want to make sure it's not anything that can damage the cabinet itself.

Y'know what? My colleague Ben knows more about this kind of thing than me. I'll have him pop in and offer some advice.

Hey, Kris! If your bracket is glued on, you can loosen it by soaking the bracket (with a cloth of some kind) in naphtha. Apparently, naphtha is used for this purpose by furniture makers. Naphtha should be available at any hardware store. Be really careful to keep solvents away from flame and heat sources, though.
