Universal aluminum double hung tilt widows circa 1986. (Universal was on Haddon Ave, Camden NJ)

A home owner from Collingwood, NJ says:
Please help me find replacement corner latches in photos, also a part that is located on each bottom corner of the upper sash (photo), possibly a dust plug 26-091? The part helps pull the sashes together when closed and locked.

Hello! Thanks for getting in touch with us.

The manufacturer of your top tilt latches have discontinued this part and offered no replacement. I suggest removing the old tilt latch, then reinstalled the top side corner screw to keep the sash together. Your best bet is to install top mounted tilt latches like our 26-193 and 26-194 on top with a #6 pan head screw like the 33-089. Just be careful not to drill into the glass. We have a video on this that you might find helpful.

You are correct in identifying the 26-091 dust plug.
