Unknown window balance

Question

Hello! We just moved into a new house where all of the balances have tossed out except this one. We can't see any numbers or other forms of identification on it. It's 1/2in wide and 27in long. I think it could be the 380 or 385 model, but I'm not certain.

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either the S378-27, S380-27, or S385-27 channel balance. You’ll need to measure the bottom fitting as shown below to choose the correct series.

If there is no stamp code on the metal channel, you'll need to weigh your sash to determine which option you'll need. There is a chart on the product page that explains how to choose your option based on the sash weight. Thank you, and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
