Up sliding windows

Question

The last 2 pictures I believe go together, I took the window out and the part fell out. Whatever the part is that screws into the window I will need that as well if you could help with pointing me in the right direction for that as well. The window balancer has 28 5 stamped on it.

Thanks for reaching out! It appears the part you are searching for in the top sash guide which helps to guide the channel balance in the window channel as you open and close it. Although, it is a bit difficult to tell the exact type of top sash guide is needed for your window because there appears to be two or three different type pictured here. Out of those parts it looks like two of them are completely damaged.

Are you able to provide a photo of an undamaged top sash guide like the one from the first photo? Also, can you confirm that the undamaged one from the second photo is from the same window?

In regard to the balances, these are an extended travel balance and will need to be a custom order. There is an order minimum of (2) balances per custom balance. Can you confirm the number of balances you intend to purchase?
