Upper Sash Non Tilt Window Falling.

Question

Discontinues "Acadia" window from Mathews Brothers, Maine from 2007. Invoice says "Intel" Balance. Upper sash is falling down and will not stay up. Pictures show connectors on both sashes and the code is on the Lower Sash channel. I do not see a code on the upper sash channel. Please advise what parts I need and how do I remove the balance to replace. What is the procedure to remove balance for upper sash. The lower sash is working properly.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We can't ID what you may have from these photos. Can you remove an undamaged assembly from the window and show us some photos? We'd also like to see the shoe in your second and third photos removed from the window. The related video will show you how to remove a ribbed-type balance.
