Vent Latch

Hello there. Without pictures and measurements of the original vent latch I am afraid it's hard to say what you might need, but based on the hole sizing the first thought that comes to mind is our 26-107. This has an internal width and height of 1/4" x 1". See the diagrams below and let me know if you think this could work for you.
