Will the 26-387 work on A Jeld-Wen 2640 SH?

Hello,

The 26-387 is not brand-specific, so we have no way of knowing if the latches would work for your Jeld-Wen window. With that being said, they are versatile as long as you can follow the video below to install them. Take a look and thanks for posting!

Yes, the latches fit great on Jeld-wen Vinyl windows.

Hi - I purchased model 26-387 for use in some Andersen windows for my son's house. I watched the install video and have a question please. That piece of the window where the latch gets installed has a beveled edge and not a 90 degree squared edge. Will that be an issue? it is a bit hard to see in the attached photo and the security system sensors will be removed as they are not in use. Thanks!

As long as you are able to follow the steps shown in our video to install the vent latches, I see no reason why the rounded edge would be a problem. You'll just need to make sure that the latch will engage with the sash from where you attach it on the frame before drilling your mounting holes.
