Verifying the correct channel balance

A home owner from San Jose, CA says:
Hi, I have watched a youtube video from buck4mt about replacing channel balances for Milgard windows, which is what I have. My balance is 1/2" wide and 27" long (metal only). The top and bottoms look like the 380 series. My question is about the strength. The stamp on the side is "26 4 FV CMC 7", and the weight of the pane is 19.2 lbs. So it looks like I should get the 2640 option.

Can you confirm that is correct? Happy to provide any additional information.

Hello!

Assuming you indeed have the S380-27 channel balance, you would need the 2640 stamp option which supports a sash weighing 19 to 26 lbs. Let me know if this helps or if you had any questions.
