Vertical Sliding Window Spring, Non Tilt

A home owner from Fair Oaks says:
The four attached pictures are of a window spring I need to replace. It is approx. five years old. It is marked with "SWISCO.COM" "2740" and what appears to be "BSI AV". It measures 1/2" across and is 29" long including the plastic end pieces. For some reason one of the springs came out of the window edge and lodged above it in the sliding track, becoming bent.

Casey from SWISCO responded:
Hello. You may want to look into our S390-28 with a 2740 option. I strongly feel if you were to measure the metal portion of your balance only it will measure out to 28 inches. I encourage you to reconfirm the length measurement and get back to us to let us know how you made out.
