Vertical slide windows are broken

A home owner from Yucca Valley says:
I just closed on a home and my vertical slide window stoppers/locks are broken. I found this label in the window but can not find anything online that correlates to any of it. Anyone know who the manufacturer is? I want to be sure I get the right replacement parts and if its under warranty of some sort perhaps save a little money too.

Please take a look at our 26-436 latch kit. Could you possibly use something like this as a replacement?
A home owner from Yucca Valley says:
I thought I had posted more pics. It is more than just the top latch the side pins are missing to I think. Window will not stay open just slams shut and we can not lock it. Here are the other pictures I tried to post last time.

Ah, I see. If the windows are slamming shut, then the problem is likely with the balances, not your latches. Balances are what keep the window open. These are spring mechanisms located inside the jamb liner on either side of the sash. If you show me a picture of the balance, we may be able to identify what you have. We may ask for more pictures or information, but I'd like to see what kind of balances you have first, so that we know what to ask.
