My windows are 20 year old Viking windows single hung. The number on the balances are (29")long #2840 with an upside down U at the end of the number. The next one (23") long with the #2280Y28. And a lot of the locks are breaking. do you have window locks.
Looking at the pictures of the balances it is hard to tell which one to get.

Good Morning,
We can help you choose the proper replacement hardware for your Viking window. Can you submit some pictures of your hardware?
I would like to see an photo of both the top and bottom of your balance (I will need to see the attachments of both size balances if they are not the same).
Also, send us a picture of your window lock (preferably one that is not broken). Do you also need new window lock keepers? Here is our window lock and keeper catalog section if you would like to browse.

I believe we have identified the proper replacement balances.
Are the attachments (shown above) the same for both the 2840 and 2280 balances?

The balances on both the 2840 and 2280 are the same style they are just different sizes.
the pictures you sent look correct.
We would like to order
24 of the 2840 29" balances
2 of the 2280 23" balances
24 of the locks.

Thank you for your patience, Ben.
You need our S395-29 with option 2840. For the other balance you need our S395-23 with option 2280 (not available online). We'll email you a purchase link and price quote for your review.
As for the window locks, please take a look at the Swisco 90-009 Window Lock, 2 1/4".

As far as the locks. From your picture of the 90-009 that is in your catalog we can't tell what the under side of the lock looks like. Do you think it looks like the picture we sent you. It has no latch it just latches into the window its self.'
We want 24 locks
