Viking double hung balance mechanism failure - need replacements & instructions

Question

Windows are original to the home, built in the early 1990's. Window stopped holding position. I think one or both springs was replaced quite a few years ago - can't remember.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Your balance looks like a match for the S395-27 with the 2640 stamp option. This comes attached with the winged 19-005 top fitting and the wingless 15-001 1-1/8" deep bottom fitting. As for the top sash guide, the 18-008 looks like a good match.
