Viking window parts

A home owner from USA says:

Hello,

I have some Viking windows installed when the house was built (about 20 years ago) that had a plastic piece break off.

The plastic piece is between the window frame and the main window that moves up and down.

The first picture is what the window looks like. I couldn't find the window make/model number on it anywhere.

The second picture is the broken plastic piece that I want to replace.

The third picture is where the plastic piece is located on the window.

Any suggestions you have for locating this plastic part would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Lynn

Paul from SWISCO responded:

Hi Lynn, we believe you are showing a broken balance top which can be replaced with our 19-005 or you can purchase a new complete balance with the new fittings attached.

If you would like to get new balances, we can help to identify them if you can send over a few photos of an undamaged balance removed from the window. Please include the length, some photos of the bottom attachment and any stamped markings on the channel.

Hope this helps!
