Vintage Anderson awning windows

A quick learner from Bridgewater, MA says:

Hi-

I'm looking to replace these 2 missing pieces and I need a dozen of each if they're available. They're from Anderson screens with the #3814u.

Thanks in advance,

Stephen

Thanks for posting, Stephen.  I'm not sure if we have a knife latch exactly like yours, but look at our 70-226 or 90-227 to start. One of these may work for you, depending on how well your dimensions line up.

I'm not sure what the nylon piece in your first photo is. Can you explain its function? Can we also see a photo of it installed?

This mounts on the upper left and right perpendicular to the frame.

Oh wow, that is a very old fashioned way of securing a screen. I'm afraid we don't have anything quite like this. I do wonder, though...

This is kind of a shot in the dark, but our 20-016 looks similar. It was designed for an entirely different function on a very different kind of window, but maybe you could get it to work as a substitute for your old pin. Look over our dimensions and let me know what you think.
