Vintage Arcadia sliding door hardware

Question

Hello,

My 1957 homes has Arcadia aluminum sliding glass doors and windows.

The doors need:

- replace one or more rollers,

- repair or replace locks on the sliding glass doors handle.

By the way, I am also trying to find a source for the window screen frames that came with the Arcadia aluminum windows, they are marked "Homeshield" as you seen in images attached. They have unusual latches that are not easy to find. I will include pictures of the screens in case you can put me on the trail to finding them.

Any info on any of these Arcadia items would be greatly appreciated - I am trying to keep my Midcentury home as original as possible.

The numbers on the door latch size are: PAT. 2701156 2701157.Thanks!

Thanks for posting! I'm sorry to say that we cannot provide you with an exact match for the handle set you are searching for. You handle is an extremely old one so it may even be difficult to supply you with a suitable hardware replacement.

To determine if there is a replacement we'd be able to recommend to you, I'll need to see a photo of the mortise lock removed from the door. We'll need to see how its designed so that we can determine if we have a handle set that may be compatible with it. Please also confirm the installation hole spacing measurement.

I'll need to see the screen latches removed from the screen as well.
