Vintage French double casement lock

Home Owner from Amarillo, TX
1940s-1950s build, center latch with one lever that operates two forks that slide into side by side windows. One fork is broken off. I can't find anything like this anywhere. What can I replace it with?

Thanks so much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to say that we don't sell this exact lock. I can honestly tell you I've never seen it before, but based on the age that's not a surprise.

I think this may be too old for us to get a hold of. In terms of more modern alternatives, the only part that might be worth considering is our 38-001. This has a similar hook latch, but that's about it.

If this can work, it's going to require extensive retrofits. Drilling new mounting holes is necessary at minimum. I also have concerns that the latch hook won't lock into the window like the original did. But I don't think you're going to find anything closer, it's just too old.
