Vintage/Classic Pella x429 casement window

Question

Windows are in great shape but we would like to update the cranks and the covers preferably convert them into a folding crank and cover. The splines still have deep grooves and the casement windows operate flawlessly otherwise.

1. Is this doable
2. If so - is it a simple remove and replace or "other" work needs to be considered.

Hello, thank you for posting,

Unfortunately there is not a folding crank and cover available for this type of operator. Your original cover has actually been discontinued and there is no other replacement at this time. As for the handle, the best we can provide that is the 39-109B is the 39-227B T-crank style.
