Vinyl Glazing Bead Replacement

Home Owner from O'Fallon, IL

Our house was hit with hail/tornado damage on March 14th. The vinyl glazing bead on our basement windows took a beating. I cannot find any markings on what kind/brand of windows they are. I've contacted the builder (Fulford Construction), and all I know is that they were installed by Wilke Window here in Illinois. Wilke would not provide the manufacturer name, and only wants money to replace the three affected windows entirely. They would not entertain fixing them, even though the windows are still intact, not leaking, etc. I would very much appreciate any help on identifying the proper glazing bead part number so I can take on this project myself and get them fixed.

Thanks,Amanda

Thanks for reaching out to us, Amanda. We sell two glazing types that match this design: the 55-192 and the 55-164. One of these may be a winner depending on size, so your next step should be to compare their dimensions to your original sample and seeing how well they compare.

For what it's worth, we also greatly appreciate you providing such a clear shot of the end profile shape despite the deteriorated condition of the original. I know that's not very easy but it makes our work a lot easier.

Thank you so very much for all of your help! I think I'm going to try the second profile based on the measurements.
I knew that zoom lens for my Canon would come in handy for more than just birds. ;0)
