Vinyl Window Balances

Question

Hello, I thought the video was quite helpful.

I'll be looking for one that will show me how to remove and re-install replacement balances.

Attached are the pictures of the balance I need to replace.

The length of the actual metal part of the balance is 25".

Get at me if you need another image.

Hello there. Looks to me like you have either an S390-25 or S351-25. The difference between these two channel balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement. The Series 351 has a 1" deep shoe, whereas the Series 390 has a shoe depth of 1-1/8". See the diagram below for reference. Compare both with your old balance to see which matches best. For a stamp option choose 2440. Also see the video below which shows how to remove and install channel balances!
