im replacing the glass and just in case I crack or break the plastic that snaps in around the perimeter of the glass

Thanks for reaching out to us. We're happy to look into this. Can you remove an undamaged sample of the glazing bead and show us a clear photo of the end profile?

The seal you're referring to sounds like it seals the glass. We can't help with that but a local glass shop should be able to assist.

It's tough to get a good look at your glazing from these photos. The 55-029, 55-164, and 55-197 come to mind but these are just educated guesses. Would it be possible for us to see up close photos of the end profile?

Looks like the first one except measures 7/16 x1/2 x 9/16 wide
if you don't have that the first top left will work
