Vinyl window parts and repair

Home Owner from California
Cranker arm on casement window is no longer attached to window. Screw holes have become stripped not allowing window to be connected to cranker arm with original screws. Black plastic track piece is also broken.

Your operator appears to be in good condition. When you say the screws stripped out, it is entirely possible that they stripped out on the sash, which is not something we can help with. You would have to see if you can use larger screws or find some other way to repair that, short of getting a new sash. A local hardware store may have what you need.

As for the slider piece, that's part of the hinge assembly. That will need to be replaced and we do sell a match: see our 36-048. This should work as long as you replace the top and bottom at the same time.

I epoxied the arm piece to the sash and replaced the hinges with the replacement parts you listed for me. Repair seemed to work good for now. Thanks!
