Vinyl window repair

Handy Person from Oak island, nc
This house was built in 1992, I am sure these are the original windows. Every window will not stay up. I can not tell how to remove the part that slides up and down. Several have broken pieces. Can you help?

Sounds like an issue with the balances. See our Series 600 to start out with, I think this could be a match. You may also want the 75-006 tool to make the repair a lot easier. Finally, I've related some videos to this thread that you may find helpful. They detail how to remove and replace this hardware.

The bottom of the bottom sash of our window has been broken so there is no place to screw in the pivot bar. Do you sell a vinyl repair kit that I can use to rebuild this area?

We unfortunately do not sell vinyl repair kits of any kind. I suggest contacting a local hardware store or the original manufacturer of the window for assistance.
