Vinyl window tilt latch

A quick learner from Michigan says:
Have several of these tilt latches broken. Can they be replaced/ If so what fits?

There is a good chance that they can be replaced, but I don't know what you have. The latch is too obscured by the top cap of the sash. You will need to remove the internal latch and show me a clear picture of it by itself and without obstruction. If you have an undamaged version, that would be the ideal piece to see.

Thanks. I'm afraid we don't have an exact match for this latch. You may be better off substituting with a surface mount tilt latch. These are different than the others in that they just screw on. We have a video tutorial that shows how we do this. We find it to be an easier solution for sashes like yours. Let me know what you think!
