Viplex window locks

Hi I have the same problem. Viplex windows installed, they are out of business (Acquired by Home Depot). Need window locks, any ideas?

I have some Viplex windows that won't stay open after slidinging them all the way open. Is there something I need to do to keep them open?

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your window. It sounds like a problem with the balance; these are spring loaded assemblies that regulate the operation of your window. When they wear out, the window won't stay up when you open it.

We sell a ton of balances, so there's a good chance that we can help. However I'm not familiar with the Viplex brand and so I don't know what kind of hardware you need. In order to assist you, we will require photos of the balances in question. Please let me know if that would be possible.
