Home Owner from SANTA CLARITA, CA

Hi,

I went to Home Depot for a sash replacement and they directed me to you for help getting one of my windows fixed.

Can you please help me?

Thank you

Hey Fred, this looks like either a Series 380 or Series 385 Channel Balance. The difference between these two balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement. Compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. Measure the metal channel length, not including those nylon fittings, to determine the length needed. Let me know if you have further questions from there.

Thanks for getting back to me Bob,

I've measured and it looks like I have the 385 series.

The metal channel length is 33".

So, how can I order a replacement?

Could you place my order?

About how long could I expect it delivered to my house in southern California?

Thanks again

Fred

Hey Fred. Then it sounds like you need an S385-33. Note that you also need to choose a stamp option, which essentially designates the weight range the balance is calibrated to support. Look for a stamp code on the metal channel that indicates which option you'll need. If there is none, or you are unsure, obtain the exact weight of your window sash. You can then match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges alongside each stamp option on the S385-33 product page.

You can order the balances right through that shop page. Simply click "Add to Cart", then "Checkout" in the top right of the screen. Don't forget to set the stamp option and quantity needed. You also could call our customer service department here to place your order over the phone. We offer a variety of shipping options, ranging from basic USPS to Fedex Priority Overnight. Let me know if you have further inquiries.
