Weight Capacity for Wing Spring Door Closer

Question

Hello,
Is this spring heavy enough to close a solid wood bathroom door (not a hollow door).
This building is 80 years old construction so doors are quite heavy.

If not this unit do you have one to recommend?

Thanks for the posting. I am afraid the supplier of the 42-013 wing closer does not offer any weight specification. I went ahead and took a look at it myself. The spring does have some tension, and so I think it's possible that it could work on your door, but I can't say for certain. Note that we do carry a automatic closer, the 32-507 surface mounted closer. I have used this on steel fire doors and it seem to do the trick. The supplier says this closer can be used on doors up to 150 lbs. It can also be adjusted to the tension needed. Look at the video below.
