WIndow crank cover and foldable crank replacement if possible?

Quick Learner
good pm.
Looking to figure out how to get a replacement piece for this missing 'cover' as in 3617 and 3618 for the type of window crank in 3616. I believe it is TRUTH Part No. 45275. I just need one of those.

also, is there an option to change the crank style to something similar to the one in 3619 that folds down. that one is from a different window manufacturer but wondering if there is something like this for the TRUTH windows. If so we have about 25 of them and would love to convert them over to the foldable style if possible.

Thank you
Jon

Hello, thank you for posting!

Please take a look at our 39-107FK folding handle and cover kit which fits a 11/32" spline size. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

I have Marvin casement windows with Truth hardware. I'm replacing window blinds and want the lowest profile cranks I can find. I currently have 39-107 covers on the windows and what look like 39-102 T-handles. Would the 39-107FK folding cranks give more clearance for blinds? I'd need about 25-30 of them.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,

The 39-107FK cover is the best option we carry for blind clearance due to the handle folding in, but please note that these covers will still have some interference. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

I see you are out of the 39-107FK in white. Will these be back in stock soon? Also, is the clearance for blinds better than using the 39-107 covers with the T handles?

I'm afraid we don't have an ETA for these parts due to the supply chain crisis. Things are backed up across the industry. I can only promise you that we're trying to get these on the shelf ASAP.

As for whether it'd be better for blinds than a T-lock handle, neither will really work that well. The issue isn't the handle so much as it is the stem that the handle slips over. That cannot be retracted or adjusted in any way, and regardless of how far the handle folds down that stem is always going to be the same height, which is usually too far out to get clearance under blinds.

In my experience, the blinds have to be installed to make way for the operator, not the other way around. The way these parts function just doesn't allow for a comfortable fit otherwise.
