Wardrobe closet door track.

Home Owner
It is very old framed closet door from 1977, amazing that it has lasted this long. The "tread" is no longer capable of keeping closet door on track and needs to be replaced. You are looking at the track, reflection in mirror, it is 3 inch wide and we need 87 inches in length. Can you help, do you have or know where it can be found?

Hello! We did sell this exact track at one time, but it was discontinued a few years ago and our stock ran out not long after. The best option we can currently provide is our 23-270. I know it looks very different, seeing as how the rails are recessed into the track base instead of sticking straight up, but your wheels should be plenty large enough to still glide without hanging up.

Another probably bigger issue is that we are not able to ship tracks as long as 87". The only solution I can offer for that is to buy two of the smaller, 47" long tracks that I recommended and butt them together during installation. You will also need to cut off the excess length with a hacksaw. I know that's not ideal, so you have my apologies.

Good morning, thank you so much for your response and consideration. Not that it will matter much, but the strip is actually 82 in long. Your suggestion is accurate and it appears our only option. I am working with a contractor on the upgrades and will see what he thinks of the possibility.

Your time and assistance is greatly appreciated.

Do what you can today to make it Great. Peace.
