Weather Shield Track Slides

Home Owner from Milford, Massachusetts
I have a number of wood frame double hung Weather Shield windows which were installed in 1992 as part of a home addition. They are holding up well, but a few have broken track slide mechanisms which I'd like to replace. The slides are made of white metal and are fairly ingenious in that they lock the cable spring mechanism when the windows tilt in for removal and then allow the spring mechanism to release when the windows are reinstalled. Unfortunately, when the windows are installed incorrectly the clips can get jammed and will break if the windows are then forced to slide. Thanks for your assistance!

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but I don't recognize the part shown in your photo at first glance. If you could remove the guide from the window and show us any other parts that it attaches to, that would help us determine if a replacement is available. Thank you!
